Hope they release seasons 4-6 soon, or ever.
Disney is really bad about releasing all the dvd seasons to their shows. If they don't sell a certain amount then you can forget it. Still wating for season 2 volume two of gargoyles.
See agian people blame Disney for doing something and label it a "Disney thing" when in fact every company does this. Warner Bros is even worse about DVD releases than Disney in my opinion. But that's, sadly, the way it works. If a series doesn't sell these companies have no problem pulling the plug. Even if a season two set is promised, take a look at the MadTV season one set, that DVD even had a teaser trailer for the season two DVD set (which by the way is a Warner Bros release, not a Disney one). But due to very poor sells for the season one set, NEVER HAPPEN.
And here's the sad part, YOU CAN'T BLAME THEM. Sure it sucks big time for those of us whom like the shows and would love to own the whole series. In the end these companies are trying to make money, bottom line (and though some won't agree, there is NOTHING WRONG with a company wanting to make money). If these shows don't sell well the first time around that shows the said companies their isn't much of a demand for them and therefore no need to release more sets. Think about it, why would ANY COMPANY keep making something, not just DVDs, but ANYTHING, that isn't making them much money. It's the same thing if the Coke Cola company was still bottling "New Coke," why would they do that when not many people like and bought the product.
Again it's sucks for those of us whom are fans, but them the brakes. If you're going to be upset with anyone with Disney not releasing the rest of said shows, don't be upset with Disney. You know who you should be upset with the many many people whom didn't buy the DVD set and didn't show support for the franchadise. Sure their are people who aren't fans and won't buy the show anyway. But than you got people whom are fans but are too cheap to buy the DVD sets and would whether pay little to no money for cheap bootlegs.
I know some people are going to be upset with me about this opinion and view and label me as some sort of "Disney suck up" or whatever. Though I am a huge fan, I admit when their in the wrong. But when it comes to this, they aren't. Plus as fans of these said "Disney afternoon" shows we should just be happy we got some sort of decent DVD release with volumes/season sets. Look at what Warner Bros (which I am also a huge fan of by the way) did with the Smurfs. They release the first season in two volumes sets, than did single disc releases charging fans 10 to 15 bucks for three episodes. Smurfs fans have a BIG reason to be upset, Disney afternoon fans...not as much.
