I know that everyone's body is different. Now I'm not writing this to be gross. I just want to know what other people think about this. Have you noticed how certain foods will give you gas. Food that don't for other people. Yet, you still eat the food.

Now, my questions are: Why do you still eat the food? (Aside from it being good.) And do you do it when you're alone, so you don't disturb others?

I think it also depends on how fast you eat them and I'm not sure if you get gas from eating completely solid foods.

I try to avoid foods that give me gas. I get it really bad from beans so I usually order foods like Taco Cabana"s nachos with no beans. Sometimes I just live with it because while I might get gas the high fiber helps me go.

For those of you that don't know methane gas is produced when your body has to work hard to digest foods. Foods that are high in protein tend to be the worst.

Avoid in the most part foods high with polysacharides (starch/glycogen)...

    Dairy products/lentiles/beans/potatoes/cauliflower/broccoli and so on.
