The shit I pick up

Literally, a whole winter's worth of dog shit in my back yard. As many know, I have two dogs. And man, are they just walking shit factories. I don't know which one is worse, the big dog with his horse sized dumps. Or the small one, with his tiny dumps I can't see. This is the one thing I hate about spring. Having to pick up 3-4 months worth of shit, that was covered by snow or has been rained on.

Does anyone else do this also? If so, what method do you use to clean things up? Any good tips for others of how to keep the crap bag from getting twisted? (Yes, this is a real advice post. Not worthless spam.)

Eh, I wait until all the snow goes away, and on a nice, warm, dry day I go out and get the shit. This way, it'll be as hard as possible when I use the scooper. Just make sure you double bag that shit and you should be fine.

Just had to recently deal with this myself. >_< not a pretty picture.

Oh, I just finished. I'd say the total was about 35+ lbs. And I wait for nice days also. I kinda wish we still had the hand cart. It had this attachment for yard waste. You put the bag through it, and wrapped the elastic around the edge of the bag. That way, the wind doesn't blow the bag around, twisting it.

The yard is never pretty after winter. Dog piles and yellow spot from their piss. Thankfully, I use a winterizing fertilizer in the fall. My yard is already green in places.

And that's why we only have one dog lol. Well, now that the days are getting warmer, it's better to pick them up pretty much right after they do it or later that day. It was a bitch to pick them up after it was hidden under the snow for several months.

I usually pick it all up before I mow the lawn. Which is on average, every 5 days. The grass grows fast here.

So I'm guessing it's a pretty nasty smell.

Its not a very good way to get rid of it. Besides, you still have to pick it up.

I have two dogs also, one small and one large. Fortunately, they crap on the side of the house where no one goes. I just pick a day, grab a shovel, and get scooping. I'm also lucky enough to have an empty lot behind me, so sometimes I just throw it over the fence. I don't think there's an easier way to do it, other than getting someone else to do it.

I put in a garbage bag and throw in the garbage. Let the garbage men deal with it. And fuck the environment.
