Maybe just another 10 or so years. Most 2000s stuff dies pretty fast in my opinion. :P

I had to see the comments to believe what you were saying Ben. Just because a TV network pulls the plug off a good newer TV series (or a short shelf life), just doesn't mean that it will become retro faster, I had to learn that the hard way.

it took the guy long enough to figure out what i was saying. that is if he's not still ignoring the points that i've been making, but there've been a few more who were debating on the case in the past couple of years here. sometimes we have this guy to help sort things out with articles that aren't up to par, though he's not on as much a s he used to be these days:

Pfff, tell me some significant changes from early '00's worth to be considered retro. Come on I want to learn something...

I strongly believe that Year 2000 was a retro year, considering that it was vastly different from the rest of the decade. This image tells me why.

From 2002 onward, I wouldn't consider retro just yet (except technology wise), though the classic feeling for me seems to fade out in 2003.

The twin towers definitely symbolize a big difference between 2000 and today. Not just the towers themselves, but the impact that 9/11 had on society, politics and the changes that have occured as a result.
