I am pleased to announce that I have finally decided to bite the bullet and create a second YouTube account to upload retro commercial collection to.

Unfortunately, don't be surprised if the Copyright Police have a field day with this. It'll probably be deleted eventually, which is why I'm keeping it separate from my normal "Roadgeek" account.

UPDATE: Commercials are being uploaded to this account right now.

You've got some pretty good commercials on your channel, Roadgeek. :)

You should create a mirror channel just in case this one gets deleted. I agree some good picks!

That's probably a good idea. I'll probably get started with it as soon as I'm done uploading all my commercials to my normal commercial channel.

Oh, I'm sorry I haven't uploaded anything in a ridiculous amount of time. I've been busy lately.

Also, if anyone is curious as to how I transfer these commercials from VHS to YouTube, what I do is I transfer the commercial tapes to DVD via my DVD recorder and then rip the DVD to Pinnacle Studio 12, my video editing software. I split the commercials into their own WMV videos and then upload them to YouTube.

I currently have at least two more VHS tapes to transfer to the computer; a recording of NBC from the summer of 1994 and a recording of a Rugrats marathon on Nick from November 27, 1994. I think I also have a Nick at Nite recording of Green Acres from 1997 that has commercials on it.

I decided to subscribe to you on YouTube Roadgeek. It'd be worthwhile to watch all of those vintage commercials you have.
