So now I have a Verizon Droid

    ...and from what I could say, it's pretty awesome so far. It can do some things that the iPhone can't. Such as more Flash support, a better camera, and some great applications you can get for your Droid. I would have to say that the Droid is about as good as the iPhone if not better.

    i've had my g1 google phone by htc for a year.

    it runs android as well.

    perhaps if they ran their "droid" campaign in 2008 more google phones would have been sold.

    but seriously, when you have a open source platform, combined with the nation's largest and fastest 3G (whatever that means :?) network, and prolly tons of battery life, you got one kickass device.
