They make excellent pets as long as you don't live near an old folk's home. Owlbears tend to prey on the sick and elderly.

The mighty and majestic Owl Bear is truly amazing. Take the owl's keen sense of cunning and intellectual prowess and combine that with a bear's brutal strength and ferocity to receive what is possibly the world's finest killing machine besides the Realligator (half shark/alligator/man).

I really wish Guillermo Del Toro would tackle the subject of Owlbears, I mean even if it's just a short film for IFC or something.

I heard after "The Hobbit" film, Del Toro was going to make an "Owlbear" documentary.

I think Micheal Cera and Shia Labeouf are clamoring for the lead.

I agree... Del Toro is brilliant!

Anything in mind from this director could turn out epic or at least promising IMO.

I wish he get ahold of "The Hobbit, or There and Back Again "... I want to see a good rendition of one of my favorite fantasy novels.

Now, is that half man half bear-pig, or half pig half man-bear?
