It snowed on the first day of December. I still think to myself, "What timing!" These were taken on Dec. 1.

Its a section of wall I've been repairing in my basement. I put in studs behind the section of drywall. Fastened the new piece of drywall to the studs. Filled in gaps with plaster, drying it with a hair dryer (a good tip for making the job go faster), sanded it down, then smoothed things over with a damp sponge. I still have to paint it, and theres a few spot I could go over. They can wait for later. I must say, it looks damn good.

I worked in carpentry for awhile. That's a nice clean patch, throw some paint on it and it will be good as new. But you'll probably have to paint most of the wall. Or the spot with the patch will be noticeable just because of the paint looking brighter.

Oh I plan on repainting the whole basement. It needs a new paint job.

Rough housing with my brother. He slammed me into the wall, putting a hole in it.

Haha nice! My first lesson in drywall repair happened after having a mental breakdown and punching a hole through the wall. :)
