    Some guy in Canada managed to raise a cell phone bill to over $85k because he used his phone as a modem and thought the $10/month unlimited cellular internet covered this...

    turns out it applies to the PHONE only, and using it as a modem is something totally different. Buyer beware.

    I wouldn't pay them shit. They should have a system in place to alert people of such crazy charges. Such as sending a text message stating they have reached over a certain limit.

    Oh, but that would greatly hamper their ability to steal money from you! :roll:

    either way, cell companies are like credit card companies, but judging by many five (sometimes nearing six)-figure bill stories, at least cell companies are more forgiving.
