adventure_of_link 3 years 5 months ago Posts: 11018 Super Mod User Admin	http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7141935.stm Some guy in Canada managed to raise a cell phone bill to over $85k because he used his phone as a modem and thought the $10/month unlimited cellular internet covered this... turns out it applies to the PHONE only, and using it as a modem is something totally different. Buyer beware.

bassman21 3 years 5 months ago Posts: 12839	I wouldn't pay them shit. They should have a system in place to alert people of such crazy charges. Such as sending a text message stating they have reached over a certain limit.

Oh, but that would greatly hamper their ability to steal money from you! either way, cell companies are like credit card companies, but judging by many five (sometimes nearing six)-figure bill stories, at least cell companies are more forgiving.
