you still have tons of Pokemon cards you collected and you have no idea what to do with them.

yep all in a huge binder at my dads

you were a girl and you watched (or at least heard of) Sailor Moon

i had the dolls does that count?

you wore shoes that lit up when you stomped on the ground

yes i was obsessed with them too

you looked forward to watching the great Nicktoons on Nickelodeon on the weekdays, the gameshows on the weekend, and Snick on Saturday night

    oh yes

you had at least one slumber party where you all watched "Are You Afraid of the Dark" and you were scared to death!

you remember those "slap bracelets" being banned in school (and you and all your friends had them)

oh yes i had 2 (see slap bracelet thread)

you were a girl and had Lisa Frank Trapper Keepers, pencils, erasers, etc. I even had a Lisa Frank planner that had, as its cover picture, a dog and a cat getting married. Crazy!

oh yes i was obsessed with lisa frank especially sticker, sticker books, and the stuff with cats on it

you remember watching the early episodes of the Simpsons as they were originally broadcast (even though your parents didn't allow you to)

you remember being as disappointed with the Seinfeld finale as your dad was (hey, I was a fan when I was 11!)

you remember watching the Chicago Bulls games almost every night during basketball season and watching them win six championships during the 90s because they were the BEST TEAM EVER! After each championship, your dad and you would go to a local street market and buy official shirts and caps to celebrate.

not the end part but yep i was a bulls fan as a kid

you were excited to get a N64 for Christmas (but not so excited about the Wheel of Fortune game your Dad brought to go with it)!!!!

for me it was super nintendo

you played The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time OBSESSIVELY when it first came out and you even got the golden edition of the game.

you and your Dad played Mario Party and/or Mario Kart every weekend (or even every school night!) and you were able to beat him in almost all the mini-games.

you were 13 years old when the new Millennium came, and you were so excited and hopeful about all the possibilities.

your junior high dances consisted of the Macarena and the Electric Slide

yep well 5th and 6th grade

your friends (or you) were obsessed with boy bands such as N*Sync, 180 Degrees and BackStreet Boys

i was backstreet boys obsessed and it was 98 degrees

you remember Thursday nights as being "Must See TV" nights on NBC and Fridays as being "T.G.I.F." nights.

    yep

you only got to watch the Disney Channel when the TV company gave you a free trial and it didn't have those crappy teen shows on it.

i remember when we finally got the channel and i was obsessed with the tv version of the baby sitters club

you played games on your Sega Game Gear on the way to your grandma's house (using the cigarette adapter in your mom's car).

you played Super Nintendo games over at one cousin's house, Sega Genesis games over at another cousin's house, and N64 games at your house and you thought this was awesome.

well it was super nintendo here and my cousins but yea
you first discovered what the World Wide Web was and was fascinated by its possibilities (no YouTube or Retrojunk then!) and knew more about it than your parents.yep

    yep

Where someone just mentions a small little tune from a show and we can sing-along with the correct Lyrics.

'We run. we jump. we swim and play. we row and go on trips. But the things that last forever... are our dear friendships'
"I've lead you down the road to Nostalgia, now it's your turn"
