It's getting lots better, too...  For anyone who has read the books; random question, I don't know if I've ever asked this, but would it be confusing if you read a book out of order? Like with the [u]Dark Nest[/u] books out now. If I read them without having read any of the [u]New Jedi Order[/u]'s, would that be bad? Or if I read like the fifth book of NJO without having read the one's before it? |

Or if I read like the fifth book of NJO without having read the one's before it? i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I believe Chewie died before the Solo/Fett incident...  he's one of my fav characters, mainly because somehow everyone knows what he's saying! but still, it's just not right!!!from what i've "researched", Chewie was on a mission w/ Han and the Solo kids for Lando C., and they go to a planet that's about to collide w/ its moon (of course, they didn't know THAT was about to happen!). while they're evacuating the residents, the winds pick up and blow the youngest Solo kid - Anakin - away, so Chewie takes off after him, catches him, and brings him back to the millenium falcon. but then, as soon as anakin was on board, another strong wind blows chewie back, and directly into the path of the planet's falling moon. Han was on the falcon's entry ramp, hoping to lift Chewie up, but Anakin flew the falcon out of the way and to safety, having realized that he couldn't save chewie. and so our dear ol' Chewie was mashed by a falling moon, although he went out roaring defiently, or so i'm told. and what's even more sad is that Han grew to resent Anakin, and became an alchoholic for a while because of Chewie's death. everything's forgiven later, but Han never really recovers from his buddy's "expiration".

and no, sewage, i haven't read the "Dark Lord" book; heck, i haven't even heard of it!! i need to keep up...i'm such a slacker.  i'm actually trying to write my own star wars book! i need to figure out a main plot, though. i'm setting it in the New Jedi Order era, and i'm thinking about mentioning the Valley of the Jedi and so on. but i don't really have a good plot. i have main characters - Jedi cousins - who've become pirates/smugglers for the New Republic...i just need to figure out what's going to happen and so on. ya got any bright ideas? (if this all works out, and this book o' mine gets published, ha ha ha, i'll be sure to mention/thank any help i recieved from any retrojunkies! )
