    		 I work the graveyard shift as a news photographer. It's great. It's like working for COPS except I don't have to deal with the domestic crap. Plus, no office politics. I love the action.

    		 im 27 and a customer service ho:)

    actually every season i do horse and carriage rides in philly but the season is over, but i did meet my fiancee of two years there so that was nice. for a while i was driving a horse named obi-wan:)a couple o months ago, a very skittish horse spooked on me so i've kinda realised maybe i shouldn't do something with a two thousand pound animal everyday, i've also been stepped on numerous times, run over by a breaking cart (a small carriage to break horses in), and a horse named timmy bit me in the ass once :)

    and when i wasn't doing that i was working as a sales associate for a wholesale headshop, we supplied hippie shops with smoking accessories-pipes, tobacco, incense, tarot decks, no glass cos the owner got busted in 1991 and was under house arrest for nine months:)

    but after two years and no advancement because i'm a woman and they pretty much just needed me to sweet talk to sell smoke, i quit and am in the lovely fun and wonderful process of interviewing..sigh

    i think my search is over finally and i will be getting this job working in the music industry for a live music venue radio station so i might meet tori amos one day which makes me very excited:)

    im provide tech support for the navy and marine corps because they don't know how to use their own network...no i'm not in the military.

    but don't get me wrong, it still sucks. what do average IT jobs in california pay? for people with degrees and about 3 years experience? anyone?

    Heh, NMCI, eh? We have to deal with you guys all the time. I've thought about applying at EDS here on Okinawa but I'd be a bit worried about job security. At least with MCCS I feel fairly secure.

    Thanks, u are too sweet. I love my job because Wal-mart is the only place that would put up w/ my disability.

    		 Never held a job yet. I've lived for 19.5 years, and never been employed. Not to mention I have no credit...

    No one would hire me :cry: but I DO go to college, mind you.

    I swear, today's job/college market gets more and more like relationships: Far and few in between, the good ones are taken, and hard to keep.
    Not to mention like Microsoft Windows (And apparently the XBox 360): Too bloated, unstable, and shitty.

    		 Funny thing is I'm 28 years old like most of you. I currently have two jobs, been bouncing around here and there for awhile but I finally settled on these.

    My main job is alot like MattNash's, I work at a manufacturing plant printing lamps for cell phones and automotive industry. Our main companies are Chrysler, Lotus, Motorolla and Nokia.

    I also work parttime with children like alot of you guys/gals, teaching kids from K - 6th grade as a chess coach. I also teach adulsts the theory and practice of one of the oldest games in history.

    		 Well, I'm a full time student, but I do student teaching, which is more like a teacher's assisstant because I haven't been certified to student teach yet. But I don't get paid for that.

    I do, however, get paid for my internship at Northwestern Mutual. (Glad I won't be going into business.) I'm trying to find a part time job that I can do during the time I live at school. It's hard though because my free time goes to homework and fieldwork. And I hate being busy. :x

    We have notetakers (people who take notes for disbaled students), which may be close to what you're doing. We get paid $8-9/hour. Sad to say I haven't been able to find an open position yet :x

    I actually considered that for a hot second... :lol: Especially after I realized that even normal people don't know how to take notes. It beats desk work which pays minimum wage and takes up study time. I dunno. I just hate that my parents pay for most of my education and then lay it to me when they're broke like I don't appreciate that I don't have to work to pay for my degree. :x I think they like it though, it's a power trip for them, otherwise they wouldn't offer me money when I can pay for everything else myself.

    		 I'm a full time librarian though I've gotten pretty sick of it. I'd quite to like to work in a toy or comic store or something like that, but the pay here is too good which makes it hard to quit.

    That's all just until I become a full time rock star of course. 8)

    		 I have 2 jobs. First I get to spend about 9 - 10 hours a day pissing people off. Second job I get save little old ladies from the clutches of no internet and email. I'm in the interview process for a job with Apple so I hope I get that so I can tell these other places to piss off. (Wish me luck)






    For those that still are not sure what I do... I work as a "manager" for a company that does customer service for crap they sell on infomercials and then I work for a local ISP here in Reno.
    The customer is always right.... except when they are wrong.
