I think I'm older than a lot of the members here(2 
, but surely some of you have jobs right? If so, what is it and do you enjoy it?
I myself have a pretty cool job. I'm an artist in the video game industry. Been doing it for over 8 years now. It's a really great job. Besides the obvious plus of working on video games, there's a lot of small perks. For instance I haven't shaved in like 2 weeks.
Try getting away with that in some "real" job. Also, I'll be in LA for most of next week at E3. Just playing games and getting drunk.

I have a part-time job working at my local newsagency. I have to get there at 4:30 AM to help set up the shop and then load my car with rolled/wrapped newspapers and drive around delivering them for 2 hours.
It's pretty good pay, plus I get a stipend for petrol (which I only use about half of, so it's extra money for me
). I like the hours cos it gets me up and leaves the whole day free. If I weren't getting up to work, I'd probably be sleeping in till like midday, as I'm taking this semester off from university.

Right now I wash windows for a guy who own the company called Mr. Sgueegee (I still laugh at the name and my boss for picking it 
). I go all over the City of Bismarck cleaning the widows of homes and buisnesses. It's mostly just a summer job since I'm still a full time college student. But it's not too bad for a job, I get to work like a freelancer. I can work any day I want and I get paid 40% of the jobs that I do which comes out to about 8-10 bucks and hour. And I enjoy working with the people I work with. It's not something I plan to do for the rest of my life, but right now i don't mind doing it Are you sure you want to delete this post? I had the same job when I was 19, well the delievery part anyway. I didn't get paid for the fuel though

I am a real estate agent in North Florida. I get to pick my own hours, meet new people and view some cool houses. Another sort of plus is that I can write off some Mileage, my cell phone bill, food with clients, etc.

I would like to think that many of us here do have a job. Most of us are old enough to remember things that people born in the 90's have no clue about unless they see a reproduction. If you're old enough to remember what happened between 1981 onward, I'd say you've been working for at least 12-13 years (unless you're in between jobs or got fired). Shucks, many of us are on this message board while were at our place of employment.
ops: I work as an Adminstrative Assistant at the college I graduated from 4 years ago. Starting grad school in August (I'll still be working full-time because I can't afford not to work). By the way, I'll be 28 in 12 days.

I was a QA analyst for many years until I got a gig as a production artist for a video game company. I'm currently a freelance graphic designer and still enjoying it. Telecommuting does have its ups and downs: You save time and money, but spend hours locked away in a dark room without real social contact. I usually hit the conspiracy boards by 1:00am.
