I do sales and hate when a customer cancels to prove a point.

We charge a $49.99 processing fee for customers to set up service. To maximize sales we make the processing fee the last line of the disclosers in case they "want to think about it". If the customers object we get a supervisor. They try to get half, $10 and then wave the whole thing to save the sale. Some customers will cancel even though we will wave the whole thing just to prove a point. I had this one bitch cancel after spending 45 minutes with her. I got the supervisor to wave the whole thing on the fly and she still cancelled. I even stayed 20 minutes past my shift and it didn't matter to her.

Look you fucking loser we do over 1000s sales a week and the only person you're hurting is me because I'm on commission and yourself because you're missing out on the deal. The company could care less because they make millions on that processing fee. I'm just doing what the company tells me to do. Fuck you, we don't need your kind anyway, because you will be the type to bitch about every little thing and will end up calling the BBB on us.

Ugh, I hate those kinds of people... this is never why you'd NEVER catch me in a sales position, people. :|

having to push extra items (Eg: pack of batteries if you get a toy or remote or something), or something TOTALLY irrelevant (eg: cell phone, year's worth of dish tv (no offense bassman)), etc. gets too stressful, and you know for the most part they're gonna turn you down on that offer anyway..

If you knew how much money I made doing it you would see why I still do it. Plus I work at home.

Yep we have to do this with internet and the internet they want us to sell is 1 MB and $59.99 a month (hughes net). They can lease the modem and dish for $10 a month or buy it for $300. Not an easy sell!
