"Feeling a sense of accomplishment"

Honestly, this idea has never appealed to me. I'm sure we've all been fed the following line K-12, or even onward, "Don't you feel proud of yourself/Don't you feel a sense of accomplishment?". Well, honestly no, I was always just glad whatever task it was, was out of the way, and that I wouldn't have to deal with it anymore, or at least for the time being. In fact, in most situations, given the choice, I'd rather pick being bored out of my mind, over doing something involving a substantial amount of effort. I.E. waiting behind in case someone calls, while the other person rushes someone to an emergency room. Or, to sum it up, "I'd rather be bored, than have to try." [u]

In other words, you'd rather be unemployed for the rest of your life rotting on a Laz-Y Boy than accomplish anything?

Hmmm, that may be the way you roll, but I refuse to become a dead-beat.

I agree with Saruman_w. You might think living the life of a loser is great. However you will only feel that way because you never knew what it was like to have things. Working hard means making money which means having nice things and having the money to do things you want to do.

I love going out and buying a new toy, taking it home, hooking it up and playing with it. I like going out places and not having to worry so much about how much money I'm spending. Also people will respect you more when you can display your accomplishments and you will feel better about yourself. Trust me I use to be poor and I'll never go back to living that life again.

Be a winner not a loser.

DO I feel accomplishment of doing k-12 or other institutions? no Yet,I still continue on. Why you may ask? because it beats the damn alternative. All I seein my state is bums or reformed bums. Wanting a damn handout withouit putting in an effort. Some of my associates either haave records or work 3 minimum wage jobs to make ends meet if you call it that. Why do I still move on, because I dont want to end up being a damn leech on society thats why.
