    "Stupid Girl" by Garbage comes to mind...she wins the lottery for only 3 million bucks and blows it on drugs and shopping sprees.

    Three million isn't THAT much if you think about it...I would save half and buy nice things but nothing extravagant.With that much you shouldn't ever have to work again...if you are smart

    I would buy me a nice car, built me a decent, but not too big house and invest the rest. What sucks about winning the lottery is you have to pay so much of it to taxes (like half).

    It does and it doesn't. ^_- Getting $1.5 million is still okay in my books, especially for such little effort.

    True it's how you use the money. Most people just spend it up. If you take the money and buy a small company or buy some dilapidated homes and fix them up for profit.

    I'd find a really good house and fully pay it off. I could sell it off one day for profit. I'd waste a few thousand but no more than that, travel a bit and invest the rest.
