The only athlete I met was one of the Harlem Globetrotters. I don't remember his name but he signed my Globetrotters T-shirt. That was 1995 or 1996.

I've met many professional athletes, as I was in a position to meet many of them for different events for a job I had.

Most of them are just as you'd expect... not too bright. Like overgrown children with expensive toys.

Some are cool though. Bruce Smith was cool as shit, as is Orioles 2nd baseman Brian Roberts.

Allen Iverson and Carmello Anthony are dicks.

    Rip Hamilton is very quiet.

The ladies on the USA olympic softball team are very nice.

Sammy Sosa speaks just about zero english.

    Mike Mussina is super cool.

Hall of Fame pitcher Jim Palmer is an arrogant douche bag.

Sargent Slaughter of the WWF is very nice.

Steve Francis smokes a lot of weed.

That's all the sports celebrity dirt I've got.

I met Orel Hershiser when I was 4 and terrified of him. He wasn't mean or anything though. I met Chris Hayes when he came to speak to my PR class in college. He's a cool guy. I met John Cena in 2005. He was sweet even if I was marking out for him. I met London and Kendrick in 2007. They were cool London let me hug him. Ashley was suppose to be there, but she was no-show.

    What was your job?
Mine's pretty big, but I've never actually met him. My brother was roommates with Rod Smith of the Superbowl winning Broncos. He went where I am now, at MSSU.

Jason Williams of the nba, really nice guy.

I met Paul "Showtime" Gaffney of the Harlem Globetrotters. Showtime was a really nice guy, he actually stopped to autograph a few things for me when the globetrotters were getting on the bus. I've got two autographed foam hands, an autographed Globetrotters jersey and this globetrotter magazine type book signed.

I also met Greg Oden of the Portland trail blazers at a public event. I was trying to get the little greg oden picture they gave out signed and my friends blazer hat. Gregs manager said to me "only one autograph per person" but greg was real cool and still signed the hat for me.

Well of couse Oden would be cool. Dudes like 700 years old.
Oddly enough I have no autographs. I only wanted Dwights, I got a few rookie cards off ebay and he moved before I could get them signed.
