When was your happiest learning years? For me it was elementary because it was a simple time.

I'd say that elmentary school was a simple time for me. Middle school was okay but high school was not the best.

High school, because the awkward phase had ended (pretty much) by 10th grade.
    Oh yeah?

We just had elementary and high schools. I actually have fonder memories of elementary school probably because I associate it more with childhood and nostalgia.

Elementary school cause half of my friends in my school went to different High Schools and in Junior High we were separated by different levels. At least then we could still hang out at recess.

That bussing crap is so stupid and makes the switch to a new school all the harder.

They have done away with most of it around here. This means a set of elementary schools are feeder schools for the particular middle school and a set of middle schools are feeder schools for a particular high school. They are always changing the bounties to keep the student population balanced. So some kids get stuck going to a different school, but most kids go to the same set of schools from K-12th.

Bussing worked well for me though as I went to a nicer middle school than the one that was closest to me. Unfortunately I left behind most of my peers when I went to high school as most went to the high school closest to that middle school. I got stuck with all the bad kids from the middle school next door to my high school. Most of them lived in the run down apartments near the school.
