Which 90s horror series did it the best?
For all of its meta glory, I gotta go with scream!

Those other two knockoffs don't hold a candle to the glorious awesomeness that was Scream.

I Know What You Did Last Summer is ACTUALLY a ripoff of what this remake is based off of.

And Urban Legends just blew major chunks period.

    Scream 2 is da bomb.

    3 was pretty weak though.

Yeah, 3 is by far the weakest of the Screams, but it's still enjoyable. It seems like public opinion is pretty unanimous.

Scream is a classic. By far one of Wes Craven's best creations. I have the Scream trilogy DVD boxset and still bust it out from time to time.

Anyone else sorta...curious about Scream 4?

A fourth movie was announced by The Weinstein Company in July 2008. On update, the Arquettes have confirmed they are returning.[1] Jamie Kennedy has stated he will be in the film, despite his character being killed off in the second film. Wes Craven said that he wouldn't mind directing this film, but it would take a very good script to get him back. [2] Craven also went on to say, "It would take it being really as good a script as the first one was, and the pay day reflects what I’ve done for that company."[3] Not only has Williamson the writer of the first two films, and story of the third, been hired to pen a draft for the fourth film, but also a new trilogy. Recently, Craven stated that it isn't very probable that Neve Campbell will return.[4] Therefore, a younger cast is likely to be set[5] In recent interviews Campbell has been stating herself she is currently in negotiations to star in Scream 4.[6][7][8] AnnaLynne McCord recently stated in an interview that Kevin Williamson contacted her to have an unspecified role in the film.

AnnaLynne McCord is drop dead fine. If Craven gets on board with a decent script, the movie will rock.

Surprising they've penned to start a whole separate trilogy. Guess it's Scream for the whole new generation.
