Id go back in time when dinosaurs roam the lands and bring a T-rex back and donate it to one of those antique shops.

I always wanted to live through 1920's New York, Paris or Chicago during the height of 1920's opulence. Seeing the Grand Exposition in Paris, travelling the Normanby... I'd love it.

The old-west of the United States would have been an awesome time to be alive.

Just barely cool to piss warm beer would have sucked however, also not a big fan of the period's medical technology.

I would say the 20s and 30s, given that the industrial boom, automobiles, culture and dress was changing.

But I wouldn't want to experience what happened in 1929

That wasn't an historical period. It was in a world called "Middle Earth". The elves and trolls and such shoulda tipped you off.

The Middle ages when folklore/paganism where at its peak.

19th century England with the dark/smog/gothic style. Also Germany.

Czech Republic communist history from the arrival of the Red Army/Coupe d' etat and afterwards.

... interesting though they might look to me I know they were unpleasant times.

I had no idea that the Lord of the Rings wasn't an actual historical period. I guess the elves and trolls should have tipped me off. My second choice would have to be a long time ago in a galaxy far,far away when Star Wars took place. Nanu Nanu

Sit down Milady I beg you please. The prophecy of Doom is at ease for now. An account I shall bestow upon thee...

When earth was inhabitated by ethereal beings, a child born from the blood and divine touch of Ancalagon the Magnificent, was raised to be the savior of the kingdom. Given a handful of trolls and giants, went headlong to the mystical Smog woods to enforce a resistance against the Crimson Army.

The battle begins. Our desperate hero seeks refugee on his last hope the amber-claw amulet. At full grasp, raised it to the heavens and calls on the Wing troops. A loud roar came from above creating an eerie atmosphere of fear and confusion. All action suddenly haults. The heavens tremble and split open with a rush of lightning-bolt wing creatures spewing fire and dropping razor-sharp spears to the enemy. Giving the scorched intruders no hope.

The beloved champion hails to the gods and reunite the troops. A delightful feast with merry tunes was held at the castle on wich ocassion the Chalice of Blood was raised in honor of Ancalagon the Magnificent.

Disclaimer: Any resemblance to folktales/world wars is puuuurely coincidential.

Most interesting time periods for me would be the 80s and the 90s, two of those periods that are really worth reliving! :D
