This was a Halloween classic shown every year on the disney channel! Mr. Boogedy with his Freddy Kreuger like face freaked me out when I was a kid. There was a sequel to this called Bride of Boogedy, which was solid but not as great as the original. Hopefully they'll put this on dvd soon so that people can enjoy this gem!

Dang Im glad to see I wasnt the only one watching that movie...seems none of my peers remember it, thinking im crazy talking about the Boogedy Man...I think Kristy Swanson was in it and the little brother...I cant remember where Ive seen him from. and I think David Fausteno (bud Bundy) was in it too...The dad was the uncle in my girl 1 and 2...and I think Gomez Addams was in it somewhere...(could be wrong correct me if I am)

I cant believe Im remembering all this right now...lol :D

That movie would be great to have on DVD, only thing that freaked me out was them showing someone proweling outside the house & breathing heavily...FREAKY!!!

These movies were awesome! Nobody in my family or at work remembers these at all. The scene I remember the most has something to do with a vacuum cleaner floating in mid-air...

It's OK, next time I'll make you listen. I wish that it were in the power of all children to say that to their parents and to know that indeed they would be heard as we were in those wonderful days on Waltons Mountain.Narrator The Waltons (From the Runawa

I didn't even remember that movie until I saw these posts. I loved that movie. They used to show it around halloween. Sometimes they would show it on the Disney Sunday Night Movie.

I won an auction for one of them, but the seller "mysteriously" disappeared immediately afterwards. He is no longer a member on Ebay. Needless to say, I never received the item...

For a long time I wanted to post here about a movie or show I vaguely remember, but I didn't really remember enough to post about it. I thought it was called the boogey man, but wasn't sure. Now this movie might be what i've been trying to remember all this time. I can't find any pictures on the net of this movie to make sure though.

what I do remember, is that in one part in the movie there are a bunch of people dressed up in halloween coustumes, like at a halloween party or something. And that's all I remember. Is anything like that in Mr. Boogedy?

That could have been it. It was Halloween toward the end of the movie and they were all in costumes and stuff. I can't find any pictures online... if you want I could take a couple screengrabs later to see if they fit the pieces together.

That would be great Mystie, and I do remember that part being toward the end.

Both movies scared the crap out of me. I remember it well because the next day at school, everyone was running around saying "boogedy boogedy boo" and chasing one another.

And it had the kid from ALF in like the only other role he ever had.

Oh yes I recall seeing the Boogedy films on CBC (from Disney) was mild scary and also had amusing parts in it as well both in the first film and the sequel.

Even though it kind of spooked me out, I loved watching these movies. As I stated before in one of the articles I responded to, Boogedy was hella ugly! His face looked as if hell pitched a tent and crypt walked all over it  ! Thumbs up from me :D !
