When i was very young, 3 or 4, I would see this shape of a man walk by my open door! I would call out daddy, but I knew it was not him, this shape felt evil. Some nights I would feel like someone was holding their hand over my my mouth and nose suffocating me. i would wake up gasping for breath and would run/stagger to my parents room. For a time they thought I had asthma, but the tests for it were negative. I took matters into my own hands and started closing my door, thats when the really wierd stuff started to happen. Whatever it was, started banging on my door, it would wake my parents and sister up. For a time, they thought it was me trying to be funny. Also, instead of banging, it would scrape on my door with its nails or whatever it had so it would not wake up everyone else. Eventually, I started screaming everytime I heard it to wake my parents up and my dad said he would always feel a chill when he ran through the door of my bedroom. To make a long story short they invited the preacher of our church to our home and he said some prayers and blessed our house, after that it stopped. For a long time I could not sleep without my door closed and a gaurdian teddybear sitting infront of it. Strange, but true, I am getting chills just thinking about it. Other than that, I was only afraid of Ghoolies comming up out of the toilet and biting my privates off.

I was scared of the usual things - the dark, lightning storms, loud noises, spiders, etc.

There were so many different things in movies that scared me when I was young, I'm not even going to start naming them all. However, the time I remember being the most scared during a movie was when my dad took me to see Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night back when I was REALLY young. I haven't seen that movie since I saw it in theaters 18 years ago (or however long it's been)...so I really forget what scared me in it. I just remember wanting to leave the theater really bad, and my dad grabbing me and putting me back down in my seat when I would try to get up.

Hey, getting of topic is have the fun of these threads...

    Anyway...

What scared me as a kid was one of the bathrooms in one of the houses I grew up in. I don't know why, but it gave me the creeps. The toilet would also make a lot of deep growning noises.

When I was five or so I watched an episode of Unsolved Mysteries involving roswell and aliens crashing there. So I was scared aliens where teleporting into my basement and if I opened my eyes at night when I was trying to sleep they would kill me.

Then I was scared of ghosts in my basement, again because of Unsolved Mysteries.

Then when I was about 8 or so I was scared of ghosts of Aliens in my basement.

I had a rather strange childhood.

I to this day have this horrible fear of Freddy Krueger, My big brother who was scared of the movies used to make me sit and watch it with him until he started not to be scared of them.. I can't even pass the horror video section at the video store anyway without nearly screaming. I mean I know he's fictional but he's still bluddy creepy. The thought of having someone in your head you can't escape from is far too scary.

Oddly enough...I was scared of Toilets for the very same reason, I've never even seen "Ghoulies" but I remember seeing the video case for that film...and it made me check the toilet all the same.

Never even watched "It" because I'm freaked by Clowns, I DON'T CARE IF TIM CURRY'S IN IT I REFUSE TO WATCH! ><

When I was a "holy roller" I was afraid of Jesus coming back. I was not at all prepared for his return.

If Jesus ever came back, I would rather be left behind. I wouldn't want to miss the Apocolypse, would you?
