Its a really good movie. Too abd it bombed in the theatres when it came out, ut hat was becaue it opened against some really hard movies in teh same summer, like Batman or something like that. Good flick....

UHF was a brilliant movie. Stupid...but brilliant. I remember seeing it in the theater at the Pecanland mall in Monroe, LA when I was a kid. Plus I've owned it on VHS for years. Then the day I bought my first DVD player I bought the UHF DVD as well. Love love love that movie.

The movie with "Weird" Al Yankovic and Michael Richards who played Kramer on "Seinfeld." I loved the Wheel of Fish segment when that karate dude asked the lady if she wanted the red snapper or the box, and she took the box to find that it was empty. Also, the Spatula City bit was funny when the kids got the spatulas as Christmas presents and started hugging their parents. That Raoul guy was funny. "Hey, today we're teaching poodles how to fly." There was a lot of funny stuff on there.

    Holy Crap!

I HAVE to see this movie!!!

LOL. It's been so long. I still get a chuckle out of the light saber sound effect with the mop and the whole Rambo in the chopper bit.

The movie is alot like KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE, where you really have to pay attention to get all the jokes.......

Conan The Librarian still has me pissing my pants.....as do a bunch of the one-liners. Every christmas when my buddy gives me a christmas present I always open it, and no matter what it is, I smile...then put on my disgusted and enraged look and shout out "I SAID A ROLEX!!!!!!!!"

    :)

I am proud to say I own this movie. It's a perennial favourite of mine. One of the greatest parts is the parody of Dire Strait's "Money For Nothing" video, "The Ballad of Jed Clampett". Either that or when Emo Philipps shows up and cuts off his finger. OR SPATULA CITY!

I am also a proud owner of this movie on DVD, and it is just a great movie. Favorite scene is without a doubt the firehose, just great. When I saw it for the first time, I laughed really hard.

Crazy thing is... I saw the origional movie that that line was parodying.
"Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges." Gold Hat, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948). Of course, this line was later parodied in Blazing Saddles (1974) as the now familiar "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges."

I loved that movie so much. Conan the Librarian was hillarious. And Michael Richards character was the perfect mix of wacky and slapstick. Werent there some asian guys hiding in a supply closet and when they jumped out they yelled "SUPPLIES!" Or am I thinking of another movie.
