from the creators of earthworm jim came shiny entertainment's last attempt at making a cartoon-like video game. you play as wex major, a leader of a somewhat eccentric and strange galactic team called the "wild 9".
throughout the game, the levels are composed of sidescrolling, freefalling, and jetbike riding, each with a different style of going through the level. also, some references from earthworm jim are in the game, such as the swing, which is now used with the rig, and the freefalling levels, taken from the "level 5" stage, and lastly, the buttville music from the game.
to add fun to the game, a torture mechanic was made, in which you could torture your enemies in different ways, such as torching them in a fire, getting them caught up in a fan, or using them as a stepping stone to traverse a spike pit.
the only disappointment is the final boss, which the instruction manual says that he's "the size of new york", which of course isn't true. though if it WAS the game would probably crash due to the size of the polygon
the game released in japan known as "wildroid 9" though it barely got sales due to poor ratings
