Getting Pictures Into my Article with out seeing a a red x in a white box.

    		 Just now I've finished writing an article I wrote about the Pure Moods CD series. Its all ready and done, but I'm having trouble with one really annoying thing. That I really want help with. That problem is with the pictures i'm trying to include in my article, and this is the process I followed in trying to put them on retrojunk.

    1. I go on websites like Wikipedia and google.
    2. I copy the pictures and paste them to the program Paint.
    3. I save the pictures under my documents.
    4. I upload the pictures and when I go to view them in a preview version of my article and instead of the image, I see a white box with a red x in their place.

    I really want to submit this article, but without the pictures I just know it's going to get a trip to the backpage. Can someone PLEASE give me some help, in determining what is wrong with my process. I would be really thankful if I found out how to get the real pictures in the right appearance on my article!!

    		 That box means the picture you're linking to doesn't exist or can't find it. Are you sure you're uploading it properly? You're not just copying the location of the picture on your harddrive and pasting it, are you... ? Go to a place like photobucket.com, flickr, tinypic.com, or imageshack and upload it there and grab the URL.

    If that's not the problem, are the format of the pictures GIF? I heard they weren't supported so make sure the pictures are JPG.

    		 I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If you can't figure out the absurdly easy method of putting pictures in your articles as detailed in the ludicrously elementary help tools in the Writer's Corner, then you probably shouldn't be publishing an article at all.

    		 Alright thx guys. I just submitted my article about a week ago, but I managed to get pictures in it. I'm praying down on bended kness that my article will not go to the backpage.
