Buu was the most confusing DBZ villain. Most of the time, his transformations made no sense at all. Example - Fat Buu separates himself from his "evil" side, and a gray colored "Skinny Buu" is born. Fat Buu tries to turn Skinny Buu into a cookie, but Skinny Buu turns Fat Buu into a cookie instead and eats him, which causes him to transform into "Super Buu". Later, when Goku and Vegeta go inside Super Buu's body, they find Fat Buu inside...perfectly preserved, and trapped in a pod. He was turned into a cookie and eaten...he should be DEAD just like everyone else who was turned into a cookie or chocolate and eaten, not alive and well inside Super Buu's body, and back in his "non-cookie" normal form. Goku and Vegeta free Piccolo, Gohan, Trunks, and Goten from their pods, and Super Buu looses all the power he gained after he absorbed them...so far, that makes sense. But than when they free Fat Buu from his pod, Super Buu should have transformed back into the gray colored skinny Buu that he was before he ate Fat Buu. Instead, he transforms into "Kid Buu" and now has more power than he's ever had before. That makes no sense whatsoever. The whole Buu saga felt like it was being made up as it went. It's a known fact that Akira Toriyama had originally planned to end DBZ after the Cell/Android Saga, but decided to make one more story arc because of the high demand for it to continue.
Still, the Buu Saga is a masterpiece compared to Dragon Ball GT.
