It's a sorry thing for me to say that I don't, especially when I used to look on the brighter side of things. Common sense has been tossed into the trash for most people, like outdated technology that's perfectly good. People forget that coffee is hot, and when it spills on them, they sue Starbucks. A student denied his diploma because he blew a kiss to his family on stage. Maybe I'm only focusing on negative things, but I can't positive ones. People's privacy being invaded every day, and no one gives a flying fuck! What's wrong with humanity?

My lack of faith in humanity is balanced by my faith in Mother Nature.

Yeah, you're focusing on the bad parts. I've found that I am happier when I am around positive people doing good things.

I have faith that people will forever be the same; selfish, ignorant, dogmatic creatures who willfully can't see the forest from the trees.

I believe that people are inherently good, but also inherently idiots.

Each one of us practices each of the 7 deadly sins to some degree. Some less than others.

faith in humanity? no, we're either too deluded in that we pray to something we admit we are not worthy too, and request they change the laws just for us, or just so arrogant, it make me vomit a little in my mouth. Gerbils, now, i have faith in those critters

We're fucked. Too much dumbass negative shit outweighs any positive shit going on.

And besides, like anyone even cares to notice the positive anyways. They just want to stay in their blissful little world and do/think/say whatever the TV box says, which is designed to fill you with a bunch of mind-controlling/destroying bullshit.

You're absolutely right. Everyone just pays attention to the negative things instead of the positive.

But anyways, yes people can be just plain DUMB and it usually pisses me off. Like for example, I watch the news and all I would ever hear are being people killed/murdered/kidnapped/missing,etc. and it usually depresses me. I started watching the news that had any, just ANYTHING good to say and rarely bad things, I'm good.

I'm somewhat familiar with the idea of free energy. I don't know how we would cope with an unlimited energy source.

A select few will whole up in bunkers or finally colonize the solar system when it becomes technologically fesible. the majority of humanity will not have the willpower intelligence of the last major issue influential connections to carry on. do we hold promise yes, the doomsday vault cern and also hubble but look at the negative side of the coin assymetrical warfare, nuclear weapons, reality television, either laziness incompetence or maliase in voting leaders I think the majority is doomed.

No way. Like the Twilight Zone said, people really are alike all over: envious, back-stabbing, unforgiving and selfish. We would rather seek validation from people that don't matter (the media, paparazzis, the "popular" people at school, etc.) then stand up for what's right or do the right thing. I know that's cynical as hell, but based on my own experiences over the years, I don't really know anything else. When I'm shown kindness or good fortune, I'm like "How did that happen?"
Garfield: "My car is so old, that it's insured against theft, flood, fire and dinosaur stampedes!"

Garfield: "The local bus transit is doing their part to help with the weight loss program: each year, they stop further and further away from the curb!
