Don't look at finding faith as a choice. Try and find the truth. That way it's not just like picking a favorite candy.
You dont know them but they do!!

I would say it's a stupid idea, but hey it's your choice, not mine.

I consider myself an Agnostic Catholic. I was raised in a Catholic family. At one point my beliefs were very conservative. While some of my beliefs are still conservative, I have weakened myself to become more liberated.

Religion- I was raised protestant but now I'm skeptical of all religions and don't believe in a after life or a God.
Philosophy- I hold both nihilistic and existential views.

I was raised as a protestant, I don't take the bible word for word though, over thousands of years, I believe it must have been mistranslated in some spots. I do however take to heart the moral lessons found in the bible, as for do I beleive there is a supernatural being who created the universe and this planet? I do believe it because logically something would have had to trigger the big bang, it wouldn't have been able to form out of nothing, but most would argue that god couldn't form out of nothing either, that I'll admitt is unexplainable. There are personal experiences I have had however that lead me to believe an afterlife exists and that someone somewhere is listening, as for religions that try to spread their beliefs, I don't believe in shoving your religion down someone's throat.
