Deist... but I would really like to start my own religion one day.

If L. Ron Hubbard could do it, why can't I?

My religion is creativity. I worship through my art. Imagination is my heaven. Fellow artists are the saints. I am my own God.

It took me several weeks to come up with that response, too.

Agnostic Atheist. I believe that we ultimately don't know if God truly exists or not, but I lean more towards him/her/it being non-existent.

I was raised Christian (Baptist), although I attended a Catholic school as a kid. Right now, I just consider myself "spiritual", since having to "obey" one religion just seems confusing.

I am in the same boat as Redhead Metalhead. I believe there is a possibility, but that there is, no way, to prove, that a supreme being, or what have you exists. I also lean, more, towards the idea of one, not, existing. As Henry Rollins put it, "God can't come down to the lab and do an experiment."

i do not believe in god, so i am an atheist, but i am very intrigued by Buddhism, which does no encourage or discourage the idea of the existence of a creator, and and it can be very practically applied to everyday life

I was born and baptized to Catholic parents. I hardly ever went to Catholic church except on Christmas and sometimes Easter. I went to a Baptist church from as young as I can remember until 3rd grade. In the 4th grade I went to a Christian school which was basically the Pentecostal beliefs. After leaving the school after 7th grade I have had little to do with any organized religion.

It's trendy right now amongst young people to be Atheist. I had that belief for some time, but I do believe we have a creator. Is the Bible right? I don't know? Is Jesus the son of God? I don't know. I do know that God is real and many of you will see that over time.

i am an atheist but i have to agree that most young atheists do it because it is trendy, or because they are rebelling against their religious parents

I used to be an atheist, and, I admit, I did it for those reasons. But also, my atheist buddies were so much cooler than my Christian buddies. They listened to much better music, too.

i was raised lds and i believe in a lot of the precept that the religion teaches but after living in china for a year and roaming the mountains and swimming in lakes and resovoirs there, I have became really intrested in daoism. I just sent my best friend to china and he climbed the most sacred mountain there in shi an it looked incredible. the daoist own the mountain and claim that there is a plant that grows on it that grants imortality. go figure it sounds cool tho lol

    Well,
I'm not a Christian, however, I do believe in a higher power. And I don't believe the world is only 6000 years old...

But do you have a God? I do, but gave up on religion years ago for reasons well known.

I was born in a Christian family and converted early in my youth. However last year I deconverted after a year of questioning. I went from a liberal Christian, to Christianity with some eastern philosophy, to a brief interest in Afrocentric Christianity such as Rastafarianism, (Yes, I was smoking alot of grass at the time and listening to alot of reggae.) until I became an agnostic atheist.

I am also a Nihilist and most people find that depressing, but I find it much more liberating because I am not limited to a specific "definition" and dogma, giving me the freedom to do as I please and find my own personal meaning.
