How does the brain conceptualize itself? To my knowledge, this is the only time a system organizes itself in such a way that it is capable of analyzing itself.

So when we study neurology and psychology (which may ultimately end up as one unified discipline), it is really a brain looking at itself.

How can a system fix itself from within the system?

It makes the whole idea of self-help completely unfathomable if taken by itself.

So that might mean that there is something else at play. Perhaps when our brain operates in this manner, it is tapping into a deeper reality... something outside the system.

A theorem explaining the proof of a God (or at least a unified consciousness)? Maybe, albeit a very plebian one.

Ponder what I have posited if you will and then let me know what you think.

Certain Hum-vees can reinflate their own tires if they get a flat. There MUST be a god.

its just doing what instructions were given to it.

that input had to come from outside the system.

perhaps there is something else at play here; something magical and something entirely beyond our comprehension.

That's my standard answer when I don't understand what is being discussed.
