I don't think any more american cities need NHL teams. Places like Phoenix, Florida and Columbus aren't doing that great financially.

As far as Toronto getting another team, why do they need one? Just because the Leafs are garbage? I think any new team should end up in Winnipeg or Saskatchewan.

I'm from Hamilton. Hamilton was trying to get the Predators when they were for sale, but Copps is too small a venue and needed a complete overhaul, and there are parking and congestion issues, not to mention low turnouts for the AHL bulldogs games. And Buffalo and Ottawa were blocking it. Winnipeg didn't work the 1st time, and another Toronto team is just a bad idea. How about an eastern Canadian Team?

Isn't it a bit too sparsely populated for a pro team out there?

Ontario does not need another team let alone Toronto. Winnipeg would support another team despite it failing last time. Last time it was the business end of things fans showed up to support the team and it was them who kept the team there for as long as it was.

Yeah, the Winnipeg Jets. They moved down to Arizona and became the Phoenix Coyotes.

And they'd have been better off staying in Winterpeg.

there's talk of them moving back there, since the team is losing between $25mil to $38mil this season.

couldn't answer that. I doubt they have many coyotes there....Winnipeg Wolves sounds pretty good, though.
