Cmon, I mean seriously. This generation seems to take it overboard with the cartoons, and when nostalgia arrives, all I hear is "Old TV was better, cartoons suck, blah blah blah." Also most of the articles you see are on how modern life sucks, video games, cartoon shows, old shopping malls, your childhood icons, and your dreams of fantasy. Just the stuff that you enjoyed as a kid and what you despise in today's world. Instead of what actually happened during the eras you grew up in.
Where are the articles on how Hip-Hop evolved from the streets of Brooklyn to becoming a popular genre of music? What about the LA Riots and the Rodney King beating in which some of you may of seen on TV as kids, and how it has impacted your view of other races? Has anyone here written an article on any TV show older than the 1980s besides music? Even most of the music articles I see here are nothing but those on heavy metal, how modern music sucks, punk rock, alternative, and 1980s hair bands. I never hear anything in the articles on jazz, pop, hip-hop or even classic rock. There is no article on Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson or Tupac Shakur, and that tells me that we're limiting ourselves to just video games, cartoons, and what we enjoyed as kids. I don't see anything on what made you the way you are, or the childhood tramas you may have experienced.
Good god. I know I'm posting this in the War Room but geeze, let's not limit ourselves here.
