It annoys me when a Steelers fan lives in Cleveland. They are very cocky and don't give two fucks about the Browns (I don't either, but they smear it in your face).

Does this ever happen? Maybe your from Philadelphia and a Cowboys fan goes "Yee-Ha", your team is nothing but shit! Or you're in Boston and some guy comes by with Yankees stuff on and gives the Red Sox a new asshole.

If you are a fan that roots for the rival team and you're not on their turf...go back to your fucking turf and root for them!

I've never been to Boston, yet I'm a Bruins fan.

What about when your home team is The Browns or The Lions? Some people cheer for rival teams because their home team is unwatchable and not worthy of their attention.

To some...yes. I'm a fairweather fan, so I won't root for the Browns right now since they suck ass despite having Eric Mangini as their Head Coach.

Now for The Loins, they've rooted for the other team in the past 10 years! That's how bad the Loins are doing.

I like a lot of players on the Browns (Edwards, Lewis, Quinn, Winslow) but the team sucks hard.

    I agree.

But Pittsburgh sucked until the 70's, whereas the Browns didn't suck until the 70's.

    My how tables have turned.

I disagree since I live in St Louis but I loved The Cubs in the 80's and 90's cause I was a huge Ryne Sandberg fan and even got to go to The HOF induction ceremony for him and Wade Boggs in 2005. Also for hockey my favorites were Mario Lemiux and Ray Borque so I like The Bruins and Penguins. We don't have an NBA team here but I like The Spurs especially when The Admiral ( David Robinson ) was a part of the team. And as far as football The Packers are my team. They're the only major professional team of baseball , basketball , hockey and football that are still owned by the city. Brett Favre is one of the greatest quarterbacks of his generation so yeah I'm a Cheesehead so what? That root root root nonsense is just a bunch of sentimental bullshit anyway. The two men who wrote Take Me Out To The Ballgame hadn't even attended a professional baseball game when they wrote that song. Lets look at it like this just because say I live in Detroit or KC it doesn't mean I have to like those teams. I've worn a Cubs jersey to Busch Stadium ( St Louis Card's ) and not just to be an asshole just cause I like to support that team. And what's wrong with rivalry anyhow? Isn't that what sports are about?

Well...not every Steelers fan in Cleveland is like that.

I know one guy who was a Browns fan, but it broke his heart when the Real Browns left for Baltimore and we got the Cleveland Steamers.
