They are both amazing. Kobe can take over a game much better and is a better shooter, but Lebron is younger and powerful, if he wants to get to the basket he's getting there. I think in the long run they will both go down as amazing players. Lebron has alot more time to make an impact. As far as rings go, I don't think Lebron will ever get more than 1 ring, the Cavs just can't do it.

Tried to keep it unbiased although I am a Lakers fan. Not a huge Kobe fan though.

I'll say this. Kobe is the best one on one player. He could beat lebron. but lebron is a better basketball player.

    LeBron...

Kobe is a stuck up punk. It took him like 8 years to learn to pass, and he still really doesn't. He should've just quit bitching and accepted Shaq as a teammate. Kobe can go on streaks, but I find him too easily rattled, and easy to blame other people for losing. He's just not a good teammate. Totally didn't deserve MVP last year. He only won his rings because of Shaq and Phil Jackson. He can't do it by himself.

LeBron, I'll admit not liking him at first, due to the 'next Jordan' talk. He is fucking good though, he's huge, improved his jump shot a lot, can rebound, and pass. He's unselfish even with non allstar teammates. He's a solid player, level headed, and determined. He's gunna do a lot in his career.

I'd pick Kevin Garnett or Tim Duncan over Kobe or LeBron any day.

yeah but no one can do it themselves not jordan nor bird or johnson no one did

but i think kobe is better just because he can do so much more when it comes to crunch time unlike lebron who is a choke artist and is too scared to take the big shot

I'd have to give it to kobe at this point. He's just better away from the basket than lebron is right now. In another 3-4 season lebron will pass him as he starts to slow down.Professor Murder makes some good points about some of kobe's faults though.

LeBron is a better all around player and he can dish the ball, hes powerful and he can just dominate an entire game.

When it comes to your team being down 10pts in the final Q Kobe steps his game up, and knocks down three after three.

In short, if you want to build up a fully functional fundamental basketball team take Lebron, but if you want a beast that will close out games consistently take Kobe.

I am not sure who is better, LeBron seems to be having the best single player impact on his team, but the Lakers are doing better....

I think kobe is a better all round player to be honest. Lebron needs to get better with his jumper in my opinion. I'd rather have lebron on my team though as he gets more guys involved in my opinion.

choke artist?? he's only been in the league a few years.. how can you call him a choke artist?? he's not near as selfish as Kobe is.. Kobe is a whiny little punk.. of course you're gonna score 80 points when you shoot the damn ball 100 times a game!!

If I could pick one to be on my team, it'd be Lebron.

To be honest, i think i would take D-Wade over these two. Kobe is a selfish player and Lebron takes some pretty stupid jumpers sometimes.
