in general IMO (and hate to say this, don't shoot me for it) but voting for something other than democrat or republican is just throwing your vote away. tip: voting for something other than republican in the state of kentucky is like throwing your vote away.

That philosophy is how we get crappy presidents. If people would look at Third Party canidates before they vote, maybe Bob Barr could've gotten elected. People assume that third parties will never win, and they're right, because of their own ignorance, they never will be.

That's what really sucks about our election system...they just narrow it down to two candidates who are basically picked out by the media (the media completely ignores guys like Ron Paul and Bob Barr, and they center all their attention around the candidates they want to become the Republican and Democratic nominees).

Funny you say that, I only heard bob barr's name on the news (and by that I mean biased shit like CNN, fox, MSNBC, etc) ONE TIME.

    Obama

Not because of the cult of personality, not because he'll be making change, but because I want to make sure that there will be people who will be shocked on how much he's like Bush....More like Bush than anyone expected.

I disagree. I think Obama is the polar opposite of Bush. Hell, he's already working hard at reversing everything that Bush has ever done.

If you wanted a liberal candidate who's just like Bush, then Hillary Clinton's your woman.

I agree with you, but there is no way everyone will band together and change this right now. Ross Perot came the closest getting almost 20% of the popular in 1992 and he spent over 65 million of his own money to do it. The only one before him was Theodore Roosevelt in 1912 after he had switched to the Progressive Party in attempt to get reelected. He too lost the election.
