Would've voted for McCain if I could, but at least with Obama we'll be in for a nice surprise. The only way I would've really been upset with the results is if Hillary had won.

I went to the polling place for my area and the line was out the door with a bunch of people who I knew were voting for Obama. I went back home and went to bed. Mccain still won TX either way and that was who I was going to vote for.

I hope there's sarcasm hidden somewhere in that post of yours.

I voted Obama. I had a few second thoughts about my decision. I really liked McCain, but I wasn't a huge fan of Palin.

    I voted for Bob Barr.

in general IMO (and hate to say this, don't shoot me for it) but voting for something other than democrat or republican is just throwing your vote away. tip: voting for something other than republican in the state of kentucky is like throwing your vote away.

That's what really sucks about our election system...they just narrow it down to two candidates who are basically picked out by the media (the media completely ignores guys like Ron Paul and Bob Barr, and they center all their attention around the candidates they want to become the Republican and Democratic nominees).

    Obama

Not because of the cult of personality, not because he'll be making change, but because I want to make sure that there will be people who will be shocked on how much he's like Bush....More like Bush than anyone expected.
