    Anybody play it yet??

Just got it for the PS2 the day it came out!!

    It's f*cking awesome!!

Create-A-Finisher is awesome, though you can't make diving moves or behind finishers, but it's the best Create mode since create-a-belt.

Though PS2 doesn't have highlight reel mode, it's almost as good as WWF no Mercy for N64. The career mode isn't as good as the 2008 career mode IMO, but I have to say, it's better than a lot of the other WWF/E games.

    Thoughts??

    Eh. I don't know.

Maybe I should get it on PS3, because honestly, I don't find it much better than SvR 2007. The graphics aren't really that much improved, they didnt even TRY to make some of the superstars look anything like the real deal (Cody Rhodes, MVP, Maria, Cena even, etc. etc.), you only get a few choices with the whole Road to WrestleMania deal, there's no Legends or GM Mode (my fav. part of the old SvR games), WRESTLEMANIA XXIV ISN'T OUTSIDE or even slightly grandiose...

It didn't live up to all the hype to me. I like the entrances of the superstars and the grandiose feeling of the PPV arenas (epsecially Mania 24, was succccccccccccccccccch a letdown...)
Maybe it's time to upgrade to PS3 to really enjoy this game fully, because I would much rather keep on play SvR 2007 on my PS2 than this one.

I definitely agree. I think Road To Wrestlemania mode is stupid, but I like how it's like the show (The commentators actually refer to the storyline, rather than "This superstar wants to win!!";)

GM mode should have been on this one, I agree, but I don't know what Legends mode is.

I prefer 2008's story mode. The "Career" mode now really sucks.

But Create-A-Finisher is my favorite create mode by far.

I haven't bought one of these games in years, but I think I'll get this one for Christmas. If nothing else, these games are always really fun to play when you need to kill some time. The create-a-finisher thing sounds very appealing. Plus, I look forward to playing a wrestling game with CM Punk on the roster.
