Yeah. I also use a different name. Sometimes I get Doctors Business cards from their offices, like ten or so from the cardholder, and introduce myself as that person and give them that card.

My name is Michael Moore and I have convinced two people at conventions that I was the director.

That's hilarious. You sound like you'd be a lot of fun to hang out with.

So when you're Michael Moore how far will you go with it? Do you sign autographs or take pictures; that sort of thing?

I did sign at badge at Origins 2004. I also told the guy how I was sick of political films and I was going to start doing B horror movies.

That is exactly what I though. He's heavier and older. My guess is they had never seen him and just knew him by name.

    He could star in it...

I think it's just that people want to meet someone famous so badly they are eager to believe anything.

A North Dakota may be refined, but so is oil and I'd rather have neither coming out of my mouth. :P

I lived in Philly long enough to adopt the Northeast accent, but nonetheless a Southwestern twang remains in my voice as I was born in CO. Since I've moved to TN, though, the southern thing is getting in, too.

My voice coach told me I sound like Rod Serling.

Rod Serling's voice always reminded me of Hugo Weaving's. :?

I have a western pa accent(like Mr. Roger's) and I speak Pittsburghese. I can also do the philly thing as well, but that's more sloppy English.

I have a very very faint Ukrainian accent. I spent a lot of my early years speaking mostly Uky. If you listen very closely to how I say some things, you can hear it. It really depends on the day. Sometimes it's more evident than at other times. To some people it's obvious, and they say they could tell I was Eastern European before I told them ("I could tell from your accent.";). Others can't tell I have one.
I am deranged, but so, so playful!
