I did have a MMPR backpack, though, and I did carry it until the beginning of 7th grade. We were poor, and new backpacks were a luxury. I felt like a millionaire when I finally got my first Trapper Keeper. I was 16.

No buildings were destroyed, even when the giant mutants exploded. They dropkicked each other, and not so much as a window was shattered. All the fights fit neatly in one small street.
