I just read that part 2 is in the works. Hopefully Mel Brooks is still able to put out a quality movie, I really don't want this suck.

You need to go watch them all right now that is important to the survival of the human race, well maybe not, but you still need to see those movie's.

Seriously, the known universe will colapse in on itself if you dont watch the Star Wars trilogy.

Sure is a nasty bump you've got there...

You could always try Wikipedia or IMDB if you're stuck as to details. Personally I don't go much into the Spaceballs business...

Y'all are forrgetting that John Candy died March 4th, 1994. How would they do a Spaceballs 2 if John Candy died. Only possible solution(s) is to kill off Barf or to refer to him in the past sense.

It's obviously going to be mocking the prequels, so there won't be a barf, and if there is, it will be a young Barf.

That is another possibility! One I looked over, but the ones I stated are the strongest. Could do a spoof of Harry Potter in Spaceballs.

I have heard rumors of a second spaceballs for years now. I doubt Mel brooks is any closer to a spaceballs 2 than he was ten years ago............sadly

That's two Gene Wilder(Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) roles which have been crapped on by remakes recently, I wonder which one is next. A Blazing Saddles remake, or a See No Evil, Hear No Evil remake which will sh*t on Richard Pryors deceased head as well.

Stop you're giving them ideas!

Basically if Mel Brooks is making it then maybe. But if it's not him I'd rather it not come into being.

WOW, where did you dig up the head of the navigator from the Monkey Island game.

I have not seen Space Balls in a long time, all I remember is something about Pizza The Hut and hearing Van-Halen's Good Enough at the bar with John Candy as big hairy whatchmacallit wookie parody and his sidekick.

I think they've dropped the idea of a sequel in the time that this thread was started. The last thing I heard was something about a Spaceballs animated series.

    My favorite quote.

    "Prepare to fast forward!"

    FAST FORWARDING SIR!

"Stop, ah you went past it, PREPARE TO REWIND!"

    Preparing to Rewind Sir!

    REWIND!

"When does this happen in the movie?"

    Its happening now sir.

    "What happened to then?"

    We just passed it.

    "When did we pass it?"

Just now, were looking at now, now sir, what ever is happening in the movie, is happening now.
    Peace ta da masses!
