Welcome to my second Retro Junk forum devoted to classic commercials of yesterday.

For many years, I have been a fan of old commercials and advertising in general. A lot of people I talk to think I'm nuts when I tell them I like old commercials. But when I'm at a site like Retro Junk, I feel it's the only place where I can talk about old commercials and not feel like a nutcase.

What can you do here? Well, you can simply discuss a commercial of the past you like or post a link to a video on the Internet of a particular commercial you like.

By the way, radio, closing logos/bumpers, and newspaper ads are welcome here too.

Well, let's get this party started! :D

Aww thanks a lot Roadgeek! This sounds like a great idea! I also feel stupid when I say things like "I love old commercials better =P " And people would say "Why would you say something like that? =\ " in a confused tone heh. So, yay I'm not alone ^_^

Great idea, roadgeek. I've been waiting for a forum like this. :)
Recipe for nostalgia: Mix 80's and 90's culture. Stir in some good memories. Add a dash of reflection. Mixture should now taste bittersweet. Shake well and enjoy!

This is a perfect nostalgia spot for those who watched TV solely for the commercials. Great collection of classic ads, though. :)
