    Anyone remember the caterpillar truck?, it was about 2 ft long had a dozen wheels, and had a roller on the front of it to help it over obstacles. What was the name of it?

    that's pretty similar to the one I'm thinking of, but the one I remember had kind of like a rolling pin thing on the front with little spikes on it, to help it up onto rocks, etc.

    I don't know what toy your talking about but it this topic did remind me of the truck with claws that came out of the wheels and it was called 'the animal'. I still remember the commercial for it.

    Salluch, thank you. I thought I remembered something like that. When I saw the commercial for the other I thought I just remembered it wrong. Wasn't it possible to take off some of the rear cars or something?
