Sabathia who played for the Cleveland Indians, has traded his jersy for a Milwaukee Brewers Jersy.

But since Milwaukee can't afford to pay Sabathia, he'll be in the Free Agency as the Indians stay in the cellar this year and next year.

They really should fire Eric Wedge.

Hell of a move by the Brewers, considering what he did in the AL he should be fine in the NL. And when he becomes a free agent this offseason I hope the Yankees sign him.

the likeliness of eric wedge getting fired is slim to none cause of that big extension he signed last year buying him out would be way to difficult and even though cc is a free agent if he does good with the brewers he could stay cause they have the money and he has let it be known he wants to win which they will do and go deep in the playoffs cause they have the best 4 man playoff rotation in the league 2 aces in sheets and sabathia then you have parra then a pick your poison between bush and suppan so you never no and the only way i dont see cc coming back is if sheets wants alot of money cause hes an fa at the end of the year too and the i doubt the yankees will get him though cause he loves to hit which he cant do in the al

Being able to hit won't factor into it. He's not going to be a Brewer after this year. If the Yankees throw boat loads of money if front of him, which they will, there is a great chance they'll get him. Boston and the Mets will be big players for him too since both those teams can throw cash his way.

yeah just because the yanks have money doesnt mean they will get him cause they throw money at everyone and it doesnt always work i think he will be part of the brew crew

I didn't say throwing money at him always works, but there is no way he is a Brewer. He will be on the Yankees, Mets or Red Sox.

im a sox fan but i still dont see him pitching for those three teams cause cc isnt the kind of guy that goes where the money is i mean hell if he doesnt remain a brewer i wouldnt be surprised if he goes back to the indians but honestly great even good pitchers are so rare now a days and every team realizes this so i think any team good get him besides the a's and the marlins cause they are never buyers

What makes you think Sabathia isn't going to follow the money?

cause of the type of guy he is. think of it like this johnny damon left the redsox to go to the yankees just because of 4 million dollars thats what he cares about but cc on the other hand isnt the kind of guy that has dollar signs for pupils he goes where he pleases and has the best chance to win which i dont think he has at either new york team and i dont think the sox will even try for him because we have too many starters and even if he does follow the money many teams have the money to get him hes not santana who demands 20 mil cc will go for somewhere between 8 to 12 mil which isnt much for todays standards

I think you're way off the mark. He already turned down a huge deal from Cleveland before the year saying he wants to become a free agent. You don't do that unless you're planning to get top dollar somewhere. The Brewers themselves have said this is a rental, but it was a risk they were willing to take.

I actually heard that the Indians were going to try to re-sign him after this year.

I guran-damn-tee you that he will not have a dramatic affect on the outcome of the Brewers' season. These kind of trade-deadline superstar deals very rarely work out.

I gurantee they won't get him back. I'm hearing he wants to go to a West Coast team though. The stupid Gians already blew their load on a washed-up Barry Zito, but the Dodgers can certainly, and will open the checkbook. The Angels will too.

He's been unbelievable since the trade. Three complete games in a row with the way baseball is played today is unheard of.

Both those teams like the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox and Cubs have money to afford both a bat and a pitcher. Any time a team can add a guy like Sabathia they'd be wise to go for it.

they might have the money for both but they just wont do it cause of all the pitching they already have and the angels owner always says i dont sign many people because he likes to build internally you just dont sign more pitching if you already are loaded and i think the angels will be too busy dealing with k-rod in the off season to sign sabathia
