Chinese Stars

I remember my little sister threw mine at this old lady's back and I got in trouble for it. Needless to say, the throwing star was taken away from me and was never seen again.

That particular one was purchased by a friend's grandmother at a karate dojo. In hindsight, it seems like a bad idea to sell Chinese stars to kids. The 80's were awesome.

What? No fuzzy Chinese star memories?

How 'bout blowguns? This kid Waldo had a blowgun...and more recently, this guy Mike that used to work here, made a blowgun that could penetrate a hard hat used to stop bricks at construction sites. Pretty damn cool.

I made some nunchucks out of some sticks and and old piece of rope.
I heard real-life ninjas used the same ingredients.

They're sharp. You throw them. They stick. They hurt.

I can imagine me trying to throw one and it just bounces off the target.

I used to buy them at a shopping mall in a cigar shop called Sherlock Holmes. They were really dull and I couldn't ask my pop to sharpen them for me because they would have been confiscated. Therefore, they never really stuck to anything that was hard except for a big sheet of styro foam that I'd lean up against the fence in my backyard.

Sometimes you can throw those at the sides of very old rocking chairs.
Be careful not to stick one in your grandfather's cock!

No, I meant his thick, veiny hog.
Please don't let a ninja star get stuck in it.

This guy sells home-made Ninja weapons out of old brooms and stuff. I don't know about the quality, but he claims his weapons are "dank".
