It seems that even 2000's kids know that all their tv shows and music suck.

I would say if you were born around 92 on, you're really only going to remember a little bit of the 90's the bulk of your growing up would be in the 2000's. But I would say 9/11, Nu Metal, Reality TV, Comic Book Movies, XBOX and PS2, World Of Warcraft, 8 Years of Bush..., $4.50 gas, A Unjust War, God Damn the 2000's really do suck no wonder all these kids born in the early to mid 90's are trying to act as if they are 90's kids...

    true. The 00s sucked hard.

    Spongebob Squarepants (pre-movie)
    Samurai Jack
Ed, Edd, N Eddy (lasted way into 2009...close enough. Powerpuff Girls lasted a while and had a movie in the mid 2000's too, so I guess they'd count too)
    Ben 10
    ADVENTURE TIME!
    Jericho
    LOST
    The Boondocks
    South Park
    Shrek
High School Musical (face it. HSM was FAR and away better compared to horseshit like Bieber and Cyrus and GLEE >_>)
    Harry Potter books/movies
    Pirates of The Caribbean
    Anchorman/Talledega Nights
The Judd Apatow films (Superbad, 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, etc.)
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (guarantee you that becomes a cult classic once it hits DVD)
    Brokeback Mountain
    Pixar (still going strong)
    Cloverfield
    Borat
    The Spiderman series
    Inception
    Batman Begins
    THE DARK KNIGHT
    Tenacious D
    Green Day
    OutKast
    Cee-Lo
    Lupe Fiasco
    Kanye West
    Paramore
    Killswith Engage
    30 Seconds To Mars
    Eminem
    Gorillaz
    Neyo
    Foo Fighters
    B.O.B.

And that's just the OBVIOUS pop culture cool shit they'll remember (that I can think of off the top of my head, at least). We here and on other nostalgia-based sites always talk about other hidden gems that weren't as popular during our time, but get newfound glory once we bring them into the spotlight.

I've said it over and over before. Take off the superiority complex-inducing nostalgia goggles and quit shitting all over this generation already like they're SO much worse than any one of ours. There's still plenty of quality in today's society, believe it or not. It's just that you CHOOSE to highlight the crap instead of even attempting to find anything good.

The 2000's were actually a really good era until about 2008 coming from a kid who grew up during that time. Honestly i would never take back living in this time period. Although the 90's were a great decade, in a kids mind, the politics and other bullshit that goes on today probably doesnt affect them that much. Its true kids do spend a little too much time on the computer these days. I have noticed that the younger kids also arent as active when playing outside like kids used to play. Idk. maybe its just a feeling. Every decade is different and im sure i will grow up and have many great memories that could have only happened during the 2000's.

Dude, you're older than me... I don't think you can speak for kids of this generation, although that is true.

    I was born in 1997.
Some of my classmates remember shows like The Amanda Show, All That, etc.
I do as well, but I still wish I was more of a 90's kid, when television shows revolved around personable, relatable characters.

I'm only 21 and I feel old already. There's a lot of younger people at my work who don't remember anything I talk about. I remember talking about the tv shows we used to watch as kids, none of them knew of any of the shows I mentioned. These kids are like 16-18 and every show they mentioned, I either never heard of or considered it modern crap. It made me feel old and made me think of them as stupid for not knowing about things.

Yeah, but years down the road they'll say the same shit to the kids in the future. I would never have kids now. I don't want to hear them talk about Hanna Montana every five minutes and waste money on shit I don't care about.

I was nostalgic for stuff at the age of 14. I know I was...like all the 80s cartoons I used to watch that didn't come on anymore.
