    You wouldn't call Pokémon Red and Blue retro? :?

    I'd say 10 years minimum, but that's just me.Retro is just another way of saying that something is nostalgic, classic, or iconic. Retro is subjective, after all. To me, Blade Runner is retro greatness, but some people may just view it as just another movie. Retro is subjective, so give the person who made this thread a break. :evil:

    Yes, I totally agree.
    And there's also some people here who think they are 90' kids when they were actually born in the mid/late 90's, that's a shame.

    When the 2010's come, soon on this site (if it still exist), the people that will join this site will be born in the mid to late 90s and then will start getting threads like "Nickelodeon was better in the 00s, now it sucks." Well we're not gonna approve of that.

    Something becomes retro when it's more a part of past popular culture than present. 2000+ isn't quite retro yet--too much like today. 10-15 years seems about right.

    It goes like this as of February 2013:

    2013 = current
    2012-2010 = recent
    2009-2004 = dated
    2003-2000 = old school
    1999-1984 = retro
    1983-1964 = vintage
    1963-1914 = golden old
    1913 and back = antique and beyond
