    		 Oh the jokes we made at school about the funny sounding name of these fun toys.



    The genius behind Ring Raiders is that Matchbox was able to take the fun of the fighter-plane series of Micro-Machines and combine it with the convenience of a ring. Hence, "Ring" Raiders.

    They were originally gonna be called Bowel Gougers but parent groups didn't like the violence that name implied, so they settled on Ring Raiders.

    		 I found a Ring Raiders thermos at a thrift store a few weeks ago. I wanna put coffee in it and just go sit somewhere and sip it. People won't know if I'm just a really cool hipster, or a homeless person.
