There are many old previews for Nintendo 64 games that look entirely different from the final product (IE Mario Kart, Ocarina of Time, etc.). However, one game, which had a preview of about seven seconds that was supposed to come out near the end of the Nintendo 64's lifespan never did, and was later released on the Gamecube. What is that game?

    Was it... Dinosaur Planet?

Kirby's Air Ride for non-Rareware answer.

"Wild Gunman" was featured in Back to the Future Part II, as seen in my avatar. Back to the Future Part III actually took place in the Wild West, with a few neat (but subtle) references to the original game. Give one.

Marty played a little western game where you got to shoot the metal heart in the wooden cowboys that pop-up. Marty shoots each one of them and one of the guys ask "Where'd you learn to shoot like that". Marty responds "7-eleven".

Yep! My favorite one is when Mad Dog shoots at Doc, but Marty bumps into him and makes him shoot so Doc's hat flies into the air. Wish I could get an animated avatar of that...

Name ten reasons why the Super Mario Bros. movie sucked. Wait, too easy... what was the original Donkey Kong arcade game going to be before Mario characters were implemented?

I could make an animated GIF of that, I just need a video clip of it.

Monkey Kong. It was apparently mispelled or mistyped due to a blurred fax or a bad phone connection so they mistaked it with Donkey Kong and that's how the name "Donkey Kong" was used.

With GIFNinja? I know how to use that, heh, but thanks. It's the video clip I'm having trouble with.

And I'm sorry, but that's not right. That was simply a rumor, it was always intended to be Donkey Kong. I mean, in the planning stages of the game, what was it originally going to be? Hint: The characters in the final version of the game all mimic the characters originally going to be used.

Well I don't know then. Monkey Kong was the only alternate name I've ever heard of for Donkey Kong.

Lupin III: Umi ni Kieta Hihou (Lupin the 3rd: Lost Treasure by the Sea) on the Gamecube. It was based off the original Lupin III.
