However, one game, which had a preview of about seven seconds that was supposed to come out near the end of the Nintendo 64's lifespan never did, and was later released on the Gamecube. What is that game?

Back to the Future Part III actually took place in the Wild West, with a few neat (but subtle) references to the original game. Give one.

It was apparently mispelled or mistyped due to a blurred fax or a bad phone connection so they mistaked it with Donkey Kong and that's how the name "Donkey Kong" was used.

That was simply a rumor, it was always intended to be Donkey Kong. I mean, in the planning stages of the game, what was it originally going to be? Hint: The characters in the final version of the game all mimic the characters originally going to be used.
