Bah... well, on an unrelated note, I actually had to look up his name again, and upon finding him I found out he did music work for EarthBound, and later the Pokémon animé series for music not used in western releases... so maybe that means... I think I'm starting to really like this guy. Anyways...

On a similar note, Mezase Pokémon Master, out of all the times the tune was used in Japan, only made it here in any way through one form. Where is this tune featured in an American Pokémon release?

It was used as the background music in Pokemon Pinball. I remember when I first heard the Japanese Pokemon theme song, I noticed it sounded like the background music in that game.

There was a Star Wars trilogy of games on the NES, Game Boy, and SNES... however, one of the systems, instead of having one for each movie, had two games for one movie (different American and Jap one) and didn't have a game for another movie. What system is missing a game for what movie?

Episode VI: Return of a Jedi didn't have a video game on any type of Nintendo system. Episode IV: A New Hope had 2 games released for the NES, one made by Namco and released only in Japan, and the other one is a different version in the US.

Well you named the movie (RotJ) and the system (NES), but Return of the Jedi did come out on the Game Boy and Super Nintendo (both under the title "Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi";). But whatever, point for you!

Describe the promotional video sent from Nintendo Power advertising Pokémon before it came out around 1998. Doesn't have to be too specific, it definitely had a unique enough style to remember it though. No YouTube anyone, this is for us who actually got the tape in the mail straight from NoA. ;)

Ah yes, I remember first getting that promotional video in the mail and had an awesome feeling about the characters on the box when I first saw it, that's how I first got into Pokemon, it's too bad I don't have that box or tape anymore.

Anyway, as I recall, on the front side, it had Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu on the cover with a blue background. On the back, it had some of the original Pokemon on it, I don't remember all of them on that cover but looking back, I remembered some of the Pokemon it had, such as Charmander, Wartortle, Snorlax, Poliwhirl, and I remember there was more but I don't exactly know what. It's been a while since I had that tape and box because my Mom threw it away because we didn't need that advertisement tape. I also remember on that box it said: "Pokemon Red and Blue coming September 26 1998". (I don't think it was that date but I remember it was sometime at the end of September)

Actually I was talking about the video itself, not the cassette, I haven't seen my copy in years so I completely forget what it looks like. I'll give you a point anyway. It was basically just one huge advertisement where they got all these live action actors to pretend they were related to characters from the show, they explained the basics and meaning behind the characters and names, advertising the show, Game Boy game, trading card game, plushies, Pocket Pikachu, etc...

The first Sonic game on a Nintendo system is Sonic Advance on the Game Boy Advance. His first appearance with Nintendo characters would be Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games in which he teams up with Mario characters.

In America, Advance was first. In general, however, SA2: Battle was first. Both answers would be acceptable though, I suppose. And you're right about the Olympic Games.

Dragon Quest's journey from the Famicom to the Nintendo Entertainment System, becoming Dragon Warrior, was an extensive one. Not only was it translated, however, many things were updated as well. What could easily be considered the most useful of these additions/changes?

The Mode A is where you play 2 player on the adventure but you take turns. Mode B is where you both fight each other.
