Vertex 8 years 7 months ago Posts: 377 Site Admin	I just checked the logs after not doing so in a long time and it looks like the daily visitor number is up to 10,000 Last I checked the daily visitors were around 2,000. Looking at these numbers I am going to start pushing myself to make daily or bi-daily updates to keep people coming back for more. The fact that we have had great articles from Jason43 and our very own Byrd man has played no small part in the growth. As far as the forums are going I am VERY happy. It seems we have a very nice and courteous member base since I have not had to delete a post or ban a member ever. This is exactly what I wanted and this forum should grow into a very friendly place on the internet to hang out and chat.

Deleted 8 years 6 months ago Posts: 54340	This site is great and I'm glad to see that so many people are checking it out. I stay away from most message boards and chat rooms because it seems that most of them are so damn boring. I'm glad to find a site where I can get envolved with asking and answering questions about things from my childhood. I am also impresed with all the younger generation that seeks an interest in the 80's even though they weren't born in them. Seeing all of the old comercials and cartoon intro's bring me way back. Retro kicks ass!

You can come on and reminisce about your childhood memories, toys, and tv shows with other folks who won't look at you like you're crazy because they remember and know what you're talking about. I'm a new user but I felt pretty welcomed and I wasn't completely ignored. Retro junk is anything but junk..memories that's all! So to the foks who run things, keep up the good work

I agree that it's great to have a place where people actually recognize what I'm talking about when I bring up a cool memory. Plus seeing the intros to all sorts of really awesome shows that I never see anymore is a very nice bonus! Great site, can't wait to look at it again tomorrow!
